After their last session in Istanbul, Binance is back with another Binance Blockchain Week in Dubai. Taking place at the Coca Cola Area, the event is set to showcase 2024’s biggest developments related to crypto and Web3 to in-person and online attendees alike.
Over two days, the Main Stage will bring together a dynamic mix of industry leaders, policymakers, investors, entrepreneurs, and innovators.
These experts will share their insights and visions for expanding the adoption of blockchain and how the industry can keep up the incredible momentum we saw over the last year. Here’s a breakdown of the 2-day event.
Wednesday, October 30: Morning session
The first morning of the conference features introductory remarks from Binance CEO, Richard Teng, and a keynote address from Dubai Future Foundation’s CEO, H.E. Khalfan Belhoul.
Focus then shifts to the regional blueprint for a global crypto economy, covering regulatory advancements, investment opportunities, and innovation hubs with guests including Dubai Blockchain Center CEO, De. Marwan Alzarouni, and El Salvador’s Digital Assets Regulator, JC Reyes.
The morning concludes with a panel on venture capital, discussing the unique market conditions and investment dynamics in the current crypto cycle.
Wednesday, October 30: Afternoon session
The afternoon sessions delve into the challenges and opportunities in the crypto space. Topics include the reluctance of Web2 companies to adopt Web3 technologies, the health of the institutional market, and the potential of generative AI in Web3.
Additional discussions cover next-gen infrastructure, blockchain trends, and the intersection of Web3 with cultural industries and compliance. Expect to learn from and meet some of the industry’s forefront pioneers on the subjects, including Elliptic Founder & Chief Scientist, Tom Robinson and The Sandbox Co-Founder & COO, Sébastien Borget.
Thursday, October 31: Morning session
The second morning opens with welcome remarks and transitions into panels focused on crypto marketing, data analytics, and communication channels. Taking attendees through these topics are Solana Foundation President, Lily Liu and TikTok General Manager for Global Business Solutions in SEA, Matty Lin, among others.
The discussions aim to address public perception, data-driven decisions, and strategies for onboarding the next billion users. The morning wraps up with a focus on Web3 accessibility and practical applications among other topics.
Thursday, October 31: Afternoon session
The final afternoon sessions explore the future of digital currency with Circle’s Jeremy Allaire, real-world asset tokenization, and decentralized trading. Discussions highlight the importance of stablecoins, regulatory challenges, and the future of DEX and their effects on liquidity.
The day continues with insights into Web3's value in gaming. This session also welcomes Polygon Founder Sandeep Nailwal to the stage to discuss solutions for improving user experience in Web3.
