Crypto Exchange One Trading Appoints Marcus Bacchi Howard as Head of Salesdf

European crypto-asset exchange, One Trading, has bolstered its leadership team by appointing Marcus Bacchi-Howard as the new Head of Sales.

This strategic hire comes as the company prepares to launch the first crypto perpetual futures platform within the European Union—a key milestone since its independence from Bitpanda last year.

Bacchi-Howard brings over 20 years of experience in institutional sales and client relationship management, having held senior roles at notable firms such as Gemini, Binance, and ED&F Man Capital.

He began his career at Morgan Stanley in Prime Brokerage Client Services, providing him with a strong foundation in both traditional finance and the digital asset space. His expertise is expected to be instrumental in driving One Trading’s sales and marketing efforts as the company expands its presence in the evolving crypto market.

In recent months, One Trading has made significant progress, including securing an Organised Trading Facility (OTF) license from Dutch regulators. This regulatory approval, alongside a successful funding round led by SC Ventures, positions One Trading to launch its perpetual futures platform—marking the first such offering in the EU under the MiFID II framework.
