Giorgos Piskopianos, formerly of MENA-focused broker CMTrading, has unveiled PropXP, a new proprietary trading firm designed to foster a supportive and growth-driven environment for traders.
Based in Cyprus, PropXP offers access to Leverate's SiRiX trading platform, focusing on both challenge-based and funded accounts to cater to traders seeking to advance their careers.
With a solid background in business development roles at CMTrading, M4Markets, and XM.com, Piskopianos aims to make PropXP a unique platform that emphasizes skill-building and collaboration. The firm’s mission is to help traders unlock their full potential while creating a community dedicated to growth and mutual support.
Announcing the launch on social media, Piskopianos conveyed his enthusiasm for the venture:
"With deep gratitude and great hope, I embark on a new path as CEO of PropXP, a company forged with purpose and driven by a mission as noble as it is bold: to foster a realm where traders may realize the fullness of their potential."
He further described PropXP as a "beacon" in the trading world, encouraging traders to develop their expertise and strive toward ambitious goals.
The trend of retail CFD executives moving into the prop trading space is gaining traction. Recently, FX Newsroom reported that Andreas Andreou, former Chief Revenue Officer of BDSwiss, launched ThePropTrade.com, marking his debut as founder and co-CEO. Now, PropXP represents the latest development in the growing overlap between retail FX and the emerging prop industry.
