Nicholas Baumer Promoted to Chief Commercial Officer at Tickmill


Tickmill, a global multi-asset broker, has elevated Nicholas Baumer to the position of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).

Previously serving as Tickmill’s Chief Marketing Officer (CMO), Baumer brings over a decade of marketing experience and a strong track record of delivering results and building successful teams. In his new role, he will oversee various customer-facing departments, including marketing, business development, sales, and customer support.

According to his LinkedIn profile, Baumer joined Tickmill in November 2020 as CMO and assumed the role of CCO last month. Before joining Tickmill, Baumer spent nearly five years at BDSwiss, where he held key positions such as Head of Acquisition and Marketing Director.

From October 2012 to November 2020, he owned a private business focused on digital marketing consulting. Baumer began his career in June 2007 at Web Guide Partner, a Swiss-based digital marketing agency, serving as Website Acquisition Manager for over three years before moving on to his next role.

In an interview, Tickmill co-founder Illimar Mattus expressed confidence in Baumer’s promotion, stating,

“Nick performed very well as a CMO and over the years has contributed a lot of value to Tickmill, also in areas outside of Marketing. It was therefore a very logical step to see this promotion which will bring also a lot of new responsibilities for Nick. I have no doubts Nick will perform very well on this new position as CCO as he will be supported also by all the brightest stars within Tickmill organization.”
