Saxo has announced a series of leadership appointments aimed at accelerating growth in the APAC and MENA regions. Damian Hitchen, who has led Saxo's MENA operations since 2021, has been appointed as Regional Head for both APAC and MENA.

With two decades of experience in financial services, including previous leadership roles at Swissquote in Singapore and Dubai, Hitchen expressed enthusiasm about his expanded responsibilities. "I look forward to the challenge of building on the opportunities across the MENA and APAC regions in close collaboration with Mahesh, Thomas, and the wider APAC team," he shared.

In Singapore, Saxo has appointed Mahesh Sethuraman as CEO, a role focused on driving regional expansion. Sethuraman, who has been with Saxo since 2018, highlighted the firm’s long-term growth prospects. "Having been in Singapore since 2006, Saxo has grown substantially over the years... but we still have a long way to go," he noted.

These leadership transitions come after Adam Reynolds’ decade-long tenure as APAC CEO, a period during which he significantly strengthened Saxo's presence and influence in the region.
