TopFX Global, a prominent forex and contracts for differences (CFDs) broker, has appointed Nordine Mejd as the Director for the Latam region, signaling the company’s aspirations for expansion in Latin America’s emerging markets. Mejd officially assumed this role earlier this month, as indicated on his LinkedIn profile.
Operating globally and registered in Seychelles, TopFX Global offers a wide range of retail CFDs, including forex, indices, shares, metals, energies, ETFs, and cryptocurrencies. The company is renowned for its institutional services and boasts 12 years of expertise as a prime CFDs broker specializing in liquidity services.
In line with TopFX Global’s strategic focus, several other brokers have also intensified their efforts in the growing Latam markets, which are considered emerging alongside Asia and Africa. Notably, ATFX recently appointed a Growth Manager for the Latam region, while Exness established its inaugural physical office in Uruguay last year.
Bringing over a decade of financial services industry experience to his new role, Mejd most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer at SEC Markets, a retail CFDs broker with reported presences in Dubai and St Vincent and the Grenadines, where he spent the last year.

However, Mejd’s most notable tenure was at TTCM Traders Trust, a multi-licensed CFDs broker, where he dedicated ten years of his career. Beginning as the Head of Portfolio Management at the Cyprus offices in mid-2013, Mejd progressively advanced to roles such as Head of Business Development and Executive Director before departing from the company last year.
