Simplex Trading, a prominent player in the proprietary trading and market-making industry, has appointed Ben Londergan as Managing Director of Strategic Business Development. In this role, Londergan will focus on expanding partnerships and extending the firm’s core business into new products and geographies.
Following the move, Benjamin commented,

According to his LinkedIn profile, Ben Londergan was most recently a Director at Edison Partners, where he helped CEOs and their teams grow and scale successful companies. Between November 2021 and January 2024, he served as Managing Director and Head of the Finance Division at Optios Inc.
In addition, Londergan has held several senior positions, including Senior Advisor at Belvedere Trading, LLC, Managing Director at PEAK6 Investments, President at Dash Financial Technologies, and Executive Managing Director and CEO of LiquidPoint at Convergex. He has also served on the boards of the Chicago Board Options Exchange, MIAX Exchange Group, and TraderTools. Earlier in his career, he spent approximately sixteen years at Group One Trading, LP, a privately held options market-making firm, where he held roles including CEO.
